The Salvation Army of Palm Beach County has been serving residents since 1922. It's operations consist of three corps (church) throughout the county, social service departments, a community center in downtown West Palm Beach, a transistional housing program for homeless called The Center of Hope.

Oasis Compassion Agency is committed to showing God’s love in practical ways by addressing the physical and spiritual needs of the poor/needy in central Palm Beach County. Oasis meets clients at their point(s) of need through its food pantry, clothing ministry, the opportunity for Biblical and mental counseling, and, through the Career Center, formulating a plan to help clients take the steps that will enable them to stabilize their economic circumstances.

Teach The World To Fish is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide high density nutritional opportunities to at-risk children and their families, the elderly, the homeless, and those with disabilities.

Do you love serving the urgent needs of the homeless but you’re afraid to hand out money? The ServePBC team has just posted a great resource! Our homeless resource cards provide categorized resources for homeless to recieve free services to get the urgent help they need. The card features hotlines for urgent help, food, shelter and rehab, women and mothers, families, elderly, veterans, medical, and a special message of hope.
Print these out yourself (business card size) and pair with an energy bar to hand out when you encounter homeless. It’s always a great idea to say hello and get to know the person’s name and story. These cards are great for instances like traffick signal stops when you just aren’t able to establish a new relationship.
Urban Youth Impact is on a mission to love, equip and empower inner-city youth and their parents to fulfill their God-given purpose. We offer programs designed to develop critical life-skills that result in less juvenile crime, fewer teen pregnancies, less substance abuse, less child abuse/domestic violence, and fewer school drop-outs.

A Guardian ad Litem (GAL) is a trained, court-appointed volunteer who advocates objectively and solely for the best interests of children who are abused, abandoned or neglected and who are involved in dependency court proceedings. A GAL serves as the eyes, ears and arms of the justice system.

Epic Beauty's mission is Loving, Helping, & Serving Women with the hope that only God can give. A small team visits the women who work in the Adult Entertainment Industry in PBC. Epic Beauty supports the women that are caught up in prostitution and homelessness on Broadway in WPB. We reach out to teens in tough situations.

Hannah’s Home of South Florida provides a safe and loving Christian environment for single pregnant young women. Through counseling, life skills and continuing education, we offer hope and transform lives.

Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County partners with families in need to build affordable homes together. Each Habitat partner family is required to invest a minimum of 400 sweat equity hours of their own labor into the construction of homes before being eligible to purchase their home utilizing a 30 year, no profit, no interest loan.

Sunshine Telephone Reassurance Volunteers is a free daily telephone reassurance program that is designed to check on the well-being of more than 400 homebound, disabled, and seniors living in our community. Volunteers make friendly phone calls from a Lantana office to check on the welfare of Sunshine clients. For many isolated individuals, this may be the only call they receive all day.
